Youth in Government

Youth in Government involves students in the progress of state and national governments. Participants experience a three-day legislative session made up of high school students from around the state who write bills, meet in committes to debate their bills, and potentially send them to the legislature for a vote. The program simulates the way american government works, including legislative and executive components of the process.
