Panther Track and Field 2017



It's the last week!!  Only those competing at State (or alternate) will practice this week. Here's the schedule:

2017:  MPHS State Track Schedule:


Friday - leave at 2:00 - find a track: pre-meet

    check into the hotel

    dinner -

   hang out

    get lunch food for Saturday

    back to the hotel

    

Saturday -

breakfast at the hotel - leave at 7:00

check into the stadium

10:30        Caleb - unified 100m

11:50        Ty - 3200m run

3:00          Claire - shot put

6:25        Girls 4 X 800m relay

dinner on the way back to the hotel


Sunday - to be determined

breakfast at the hotel - leave at 6:15

check out of the hotel

8:00        Theo - pole vault

10:30      Sarah - pole vault

4:20        Ty - 1600m run

dinner on the way back to Granby (bring money for this dinner - we'll pay for everything else)

End of Season Celebration!!!


We will be having our end of season celebration May 23rd at 5:30 in the gym. A $5 per person charge at the door for dinner (family max of $20). Please have all of your uniforms, shoes, sweats (clean) turned in or ready to turn in!


We are hoping everyone can make it!


It's been a great season and it isn't over yet!







News for week 10:  (5/8-5/12)

The Frontier League Championships were last week!!

League Champions include:
4 X 800 both boys and girls (Brevik, Aidan, Theo, and Elliot - Morgan, Raylee, Lizzie, Alyssa)  
1600m run Brevik Petersen
1600m run Raelee Granger (we went 1-2-3 with Alyssa & Hayley)
Shot Put - Claire Luque
4 X 400 relays boys and girls (Blake, Aironas, MItch, Elliot - Haley, Selena, Tori, Lizzie)
Boys finished 3rd and Girls 2nd!!!

Next meets: Last Chance Weekend!

Joe Shields - at West Grand - Thursday, May 11th  --> bus leaves at 10:15 field events, start at 12:00 - running events 1:00. This is again a qualifier with 11 teams in attendance.

Friday - we will be heading to Longmont High School for the St Vrain Invitational. Bus leaves at 8:30 meet starts at noon - last event slated for 9:40. = Late night!


News for week 11: (5/15-20)

The top 18 in each division (we are 3A) will be competing at the State Championships held at Jeffco Stadium (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). We will notify athletes that qualify when the lists are determined (usually Sunday the 14th).
