1st Month at MPHS and Going Forward

It's been a great school year.  The students are focused and working hard.  Schedules are settled and our 9th graders are up to pace.  This is the time of year for our students to pay attention to organization, develop routines, not get behind and complete school work when it's assigned.  We have a student body that has seen many successes.

Currently, activities are running well.  Sophomore River Trip came back cold but renewed.  RMNP Backpacking trip found snow on the ground this weekend. Everyone was safe.  Fall is here!

Sports are well into mid-season.  We are seeing successes in all sports activities, Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country and Cheer.  I've seen some great competitions.  GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PANTHERS.

Homecoming is next week Oct. 3rd-8th.
  • Monday the 3rd: Pump-up assembly (assembly schedule)

  • Tuesday the 4th: Ironman at 7

  • Wednesday the 5th: Powder Puff at 7, followed by bonfire at 8

  • Thursday the 6th: No additional events scheduled

  • Friday the 7th: Home football game and presentation of Homecoming Court at halftime

  • Saturday the 8th: Homecoming Dance!!!

Principal Advisory Meeting: Oct. 6th, 5-6pm in the MPHS Library. This is a parent group that meets with the principal and talks about all things MPHS. All parents are invited, reservations are not required and cookies/refreshments are served. Look forward to seeing you there.

Parents, with everything else in your life, please focus on Parent-Teacher Conferences Oct. 26-27, 4;45pm - 7:15pm.  We would like to see a solid turn out at this conference.  Plan on it!
