HI! My name is Vicki Sordyl. I have been in the education field since 1998. I have been an administrator and/or teacher in Battle Creek Michigan, Bolingbrook, Illinois, and Commerce City, Colorado. I have a Master's in Educational Leadership with a General Administrative Certificate as well as a Bachelor of Art's in Education.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to be the Assistant Principal! My favorite aspect of being in education is teaching life skills such as stress management, effective decision making, emotional intelligence and analyzing how these skills support goals that students are working towards. You will regularly hear me ask "is that decision getting you closer to your goal or further away". It really is wonderful when students realize that they have the ability to direct their life and make choices that align with their goals.

In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
